JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Slot Operations is responsible for all aspects of slot machine maintenance, repair and technical operations within multiple casinos. This involves leading a team of technicians across various properties, managing budgets, analyzing performance data and collaborating with other departments to enhance slot operations. The Slots team maintains high standards of the operation in cleanliness, quality and service.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily operations including maintenance, cleaning and repairs of slot machines, kiosks, etc.
- Ability to analyze asset performance, game placement and product mix and develop strategies to maximize profitability
- Responsible for optimization of all slot machines on the floors
- Plan and direct the coordination of slot moves, modifications, upgrades and installations with vendors, regulatory agencies & support areas
- Develop game profitability statistical analysis, including trends, forecasts and projections
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions
- Ensure staff provides outstanding guest service while minimizing machine down time
- Oversee slot projects, maintenance logs, repair logs, purchase orders and requisitions of slot machine parts/supplies
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with vendors for new products, purchases, repairs and maintenance
- Develop, implement and monitor the slot department budget for repairs, maintenance and upgrades
- Plan, assign and direct work, evaluate performance, reward and discipline as appropriate, address concerns and resolve issues
- Ensure compliance with all internal policies, gaming regulations and applicable laws
- Develop and execute operational policies and procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality of company information including financial data
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of slot equipment and maintenance procedures
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team
- Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to slot equipment/software
- Ability to use power tools and electronic equipment
- Knowledge of gaming regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with other departments and maintain effective relationships with staff, guests and vendors
- Must pay attention to detail including cleanliness and safety
- Ability to bend, stand, walk, exert well-paced mobility, reach, crawl, balance and lift/move up to 50 pounds
CERTIFICATIONS
- Must be able to obtain and maintain NV Gaming Registration (renewed every 5 years)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The Slots employees work in an environment that involves interaction with others. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work with solvents/oils, electrical devices, moving mechanical parts, and will be exposed to second hand tobacco smoke, fumes, airborne particles and potentially bloodborne pathogens.
Employees are subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to loud on the casino floor.
